Description
In the case of end terminations of a microduct bundle for fiber optic cables that have to be laid permanently, it is of crucial importance that they remain tightly sealed for years. Provisional solutions often used, such as adhesive tapes or shrink caps, are unsuitable here. These can neither seal the microduct bundle tightly nor are they durable in the long term.
Our permanent sealing caps prevent from ingress of water and dirt of any kind. When the cap is twisted on, the integrated sealing compound spreads into the individual microducts and interstices of microduct bundle and seals them. All microducts are thus sealed together and cost-effectively in a single operation.
The products have already proven themselves thousands of times over as a safe and fast-to-use method.
Combination sets of permanent and temporary sealing caps are available on request.
